About Tendo-ryu

Tendo-ryu is a revered martial art school with a captivating history spanning over 450 years. Known for its unique blend of weapons, the tradition is renowned for its incredible techniques involving the naginata. Scrolls from the Meiji period (1868-1912) contain references to hundreds of techniques, passed down from master to disciple. Today, the 17th head of the school, Kimura Yasuko, is dedicated to preserving and promoting these techniques for future generations.
