"NHK Hobbies! (Shumi Doki!) Sword Lovers Exploration" will be broadcast every Wednesday from 9:30 pm to 9:55 pm starting October 4. The eight-part series will explore the fascinating world of Kobudo ryuha (tradition), showcasing various distinctive sword styles and techniques.
The fifth episode, which airs on 1 November, will focus on the Naginata. Viewers will gain insight into the rich history, philosophies and skills of Tendoryu and Jikishinkageryu, two prestigious ryuha that preserve and promote this ancient martial art.
